Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie

While I certainly watched "Hey Arnold" as a kid, for me, it was just a filler show to pass the time until something better was on. So to see it get a second feature film, when "Angry Beavers" has gotten none, is almost insulting. But trying to put my bias aside, the jungle setting makes this feel like a different cartoon, like if the Thornberrys were poor Brooklyners, and I'm not convinced that's a good fit. The best part of "Hey Arnold" was the city, and here it's neglected.

Never a avid watcher of the TV-series, I still got into this adventure. Enough humor and character to compensate for such a late conclusion to the Arnold's childhood.
