Boring

By the episode 4 I knew who the murder is and why,which kinda affects the rating of course. I agree the plot twist is good but the very end is weird and too "positive". Still recommended!

I thought the ending was very clever. Usually these types of shows either come with a level of predictability or the twist is so drastic it doesn't make any sense. This was perfect.

A sweet murder mess.

Heavy handed with the themes especially later as the series progresses. His and Hers works because they play up the "everyone has a secret" concept for the better part of the series. Bernthal and Thompson portray loss and grief on a very intense scale. The final secret while predictable serves the idea that trauma is not something we can escape. We can't out run it. We can't just bury it. The writing and pacing could have been a little tighter in the middle episodes but it does what is needed.

It’s not a series that asks for patience, but it does require a certain willingness to go along with it. From the outset it sets up a clear, familiar, almost comfortable mystery, and uses it as a starting point for something more twisted. There is investigation, there are unresolved scores, there are intersecting acts of revenge, but nothing is arranged in the most obvious way.
