With ten ten-minute episodes per season, Infinity Train has the benefit of brevity, yet still delivers a well-structured, imagination-filled tale with an positive moral outlook. The 2nd season successfully expands what was already a rich mythology, taking the show in a new (yet familiar) direction while laying further room to expand. The animation is colourful. The music is sufficiently eerie. And the voice acting is good, with some surprisingly famous guest actors.

VERY good use of a framing device to repeatedly explore a character's emotional issues in a way that's more mature and relatable than most adult-oriented stories, let alone a kid's cartoon. The more whimsical moments are balanced by an enjoyable dark surrealism that gives real weight to the actions taken. And somehow they managed to pull off a squeal season that compliments the first one without also cheapening it?? No clue where this will go next, but I'm totally on board, so to speak.

Good miniseries, darker than the usual CN output. Only 10 episodes so far, but it looks promising. The different environments inside the train cars looked cool, as was the concept. I want to get to know more about the characters and their world.

[through season 4] It's really impressive what this manages to achieve with 11-minute episodes.

Cartoon Network's second miniseries provides another tightly-ploted tale with excellent characters that perfectly melds the surreal and fantastic with the relatable and emotional. The second and third seasons are even better, exploring new facets of the show's world while delving into topics such as personhood, fate, cult identity, and redemption.
