Bad screenplay, bad acting. Reeks of wokeness!

The story is full of dead end plot directions. Characters introduced only to be killed off. Far too much detail that has no bearing at all on the progression of the story. Too much padding and useless fluff. They take too much time to reveal anything at all. Lots of characters speaking foreign languages with subtitles. It is mostly a confusing drama with Sci-Fi that seems more like an afterthought. Episodes 1-4 were not particularly good. Watchable but not so hot.

Nowdays there is this bizarre trend where sci-fi series are more focused on family drama than anything else. Writers, I say it out loud: it doesn't work! STOP IT. If I watch a thing called INVASION, I expect a deep story about aliens and survival, not about fights between wife and husband. The story itself has a lot of weaknesses. In the end, it was not terrible to watch, surely not a top product. Curious about season 2. The first episode is really intriguing. But that plotline ends there.

I really like this show. May go higher even. Only thing I was not a fan of was the "aliens" we have seen so far - the black blobs with spikes. I choose for now to believe they are some sort of servant, not the primary alien. Who knows. EDIT: Season 2 was much better, and they redesigned the aliens to be better. Really good show. Can't wait for season 3.

This is more of a drama than a scifi show. It didn't always work, but I enjoyed in none the less. Four stories, some completely independent, some with loose ties, of various people experiencing the aftermath of an alien invasion. The first episode is largely setup to draw you in. The stories begin in the 2nd episode. It's fun watching the characters go from not knowing what is going on and extending that to a fight for survival. Skip episode 10 unless season 2 comes out.

Flat in terms of plot and characters and there is so many storylines that lead nowhere and each story progress so slowly that I watched ep. 3-5 on 3xspeed, which is possible with subtitles, and believe me - without stress, since the story is so simple and flat, with no subtility. I kept watching because I confused it with the show with same name from 2005, which has fine ratings and reviews. This shows how much I now believe in the PSI that I suffered all these episodes.
