Lord of the Flies

Brilliant acting by the cast is frequently overshadowed by the filmmakers' desire to implement every art student trick ever conceived. It regularly drew me out of the story as I tried to work out the intent of their excessive use of awkward effects.

I've read the novel during my collage time and was blown away of how brutal we man can be but still try to hold on good behaviour but in the end there are only one rule in the jungle, be the predator or be the prey, hunt or get hunted, eye to eye .. years later I've watched the movie and now this mini series.. the novel was amazing but this series of 2026 was also good then the 1990 screenplay.

I absolutely loved the way they handled this book

While competent, it adds nothing to the original story/movie or the genre as a whole.

The problem with this story, other than it being dark and disturbing, is there is no trilogy. I want to know what happens next.
