Lost Girl

A run of the mill show pandering to the supernatural romance demographic.

I kept asking, "And she's a succubus?" Then gave up in despair. Anybody else notice the guy named after the washing machine looks like a grumpy Chris Martin?

Lost Girl was a lot of fun when it wanted to be, with seasons arcs that took deep dives appropriating various mythologies, as well as making up plenty as it went a long. What killed some of that momentum was when characters acted childishly, stupidly, or pointlessly as a way of filling time. Also constantly reminding the audience of each character's sexuality, even 5 seasons in, didn't help. The story is better than the acting, but a decent watch.

So-so Buffy-esque show.
