[through season 1] It's fine, but very obviously unfinished due to cancellation.

The interactions seem stilted, lacks fluidity. The performance feels constrained by the written script and lacks a natural, organic quality. This is my impression from the first 15 min. and I might jump to conclusions.

Unsatisfied people making the viewer feel miserable leads to an unsurprisingly miserable experience and an expected cancellation after one season.

Very enjoyable show to watch and has a very good story.

Great cast of quirky talented characters. Man, that dude is unhappy.

I feel like Bob should have done some movies or something, as padding between BCS and his next series, as ANYTHING is bound to look like a letdown , or less than. Still, this is an interesting story. A tenured departmental chair, having his mid-life crisis and essentially giving up on everything. Maybe. Odenkirk is funny as a defeated man taking his last gasps, and it has a strong supporting cast. I will keep watching.
