Mayor of Kingstown

Kind of annoying to see a talented actor go so early but the story and town is interesting enough to carry it so far. Weak point right now is the family element aside from the brothers. It seems forced and not well fleshed out.

its well made, but badly thought through. but that only bothers me once in a while. its good enough to be good TV.

So tired of Criticker recommending me Taylor Sheridan‘s lousy macho/asshole universe of heavy-handed platitudes.

The show tells the story of the McLusky family, power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, a small town dominated by the prison system. Together, they tackle "systemic racism, corruption and inequality" in hopes to bring "order and justice to a town that has neither". Mike McLusky earned his title as "Mayor of Kingstown" through acts of good will, power and, at times, deception. McLusky's are acting in their business as "fix-it men, part-time gangsters".

Not a fan of Jeremy Renner, but he hits it out the park with this one. A little bit like the Tulsa King but much more serious and bloody. Recommended.
