Metal Tornado

Metal Tornado not being that metal. Thank god Philadelphia gets saved, unlike Paris. But who needs Paris anyway?

Usually a crappy low-budget movie like this will have some kind of gimmick. Generally it's over-the-top violence or creative death scenes. This movie has no gimmick, and instead strives for a PG rating. This makes for a boring experience from start to finish, as you get to watch for an hour as the characters try to figure out everything the audience already knows. Too much time is dedicated to pointless techno-babble, and not enough time is spent on schlocky disaster footage.

Low budget TV film with a romantic subplot that doesn't matter featuring a non-sentient but written as sentient tornado. Ah yes, writing the mysterious phenomenon as a sentient force, a classic flaw in poorly made films. It's also a master of surprise - a 1 million tonne metal spinning death vortex that pops up out of nowhere in a city, surprising the very people who know where its going and the path it is going to take! Drama!
