My Zinc Bed

My Zinc Bed is one more stage adaptation that assumes that the pompous, snobby stage goers sparsely sprinkled throughout the population are the same people that go to movies. I, for one, would rather go to an AA meeting that watch sad people talk about struggling with their drinking for ninety minutes.

This movie has some problems but overall I enjoyed it. The lead actor, Paddy Considine gives an interesting performance. On the other hand Uma Thurman has been better before. This is not the best movie about addiction but certainly an interesting one.
