Narcos: Mexico

Contrary to critical acclaim i think S3 was by far the most solid. I struggled getting through the Gallardo seasons. Somehow the side characters Narcos started to come alive in s3. Better writing, or maybe better attention on my part? The frustrating story arch of Tapia, a cop trying to do a good thing but simply can’t in this environment, is well told and the most memorable thing of the season and touches on “high artistic quality” (the highest qualification)

S1: Feels like one long pilot episode. That feeling is brought into even starker relief when you actually meet the narrator. Diego Luna is one of our finest actors, and the way his Felix can nimbly go from charming to pleading to menacing is really interesting to watch. S2: As much as I like Scoot, his character was never particularly interesting here. The real intrigue is the dealings between and among the various traffickers.

It would have been easy to think this was simply squeezing too much out of a formula that had already worked very well. After three seasons of kingpins, chases, politics, corruption, violence, voice-over and criminal rises, the risk of repetition was enormous. Excellent story telling

First two season good but the third really picks it up for me personally

Things didn't happen like that from up close, if they are going to be a series with everything and names they should at least investigate well, since there are many false accusations, false characters that can undermine not knowing the story well and enhance ignorance

Besides some actors this some bad show.

There's no comparison to what we saw in the first part of the series on to what the end bring.

These types of series only hurt us more as a country, glorifying drug traffickers is very irresponsible, especially when we have a big problem in Mexico with violence, and in the USA a big problem with drug consumption, they should remove these contents
