Naruto

Started off pretty good, but dragged on far too long to the point where the writer was not only running out of ideas but blatantly contradicting his original ones. Also had more than its fair share of crappy filler.

Oh Naruto. Never has a show captivated me with a premise, given me some interesting characters, and then led me on a long, winding road to nowhere with tons of filler without meaningfully addressing the cliffhanger threads in any satisfying way. A great example of a good show gone bad.

Goat

This TV series makes me cry from the beginning. Very good idea settled from the first episode. A lot of humour. Not all the characters that good, but many of them are still one of the most interesting and charismatic

Very creative setting and also interesting characters and philosophical dilemmas and obviously hype

Great start, too much filler. The best parts lead up to shippuden

Is this the pre-timeskip stuff? This anime is directly responsible for me meeting my ex-wife. I was the owner of the "official" Genma fanclub back in 2005. Things went downhill after the timeskip, at which point the series lost it's charm. Not to mention, anime only, the fillers got ridiculous. But going from Zabuza to Chuunin exams? Those first two seasons hooked us HARD. I still think Lee v Gaara is the best anime fight in history.
