Natascha: The Girl in the Cellar

I didn't realize this was a documentary when I started it. Almost the entire thing is Natascha (no, actually a translator, with a monotonous voice and emotionless, awkward/labored English speaking over her) telling her story. I found it painfully tedious and boring. I stuck with it because I was curious about what ended up happening to her/how she got away, but there was no climax (even when she escaped) and I felt my time was wasted. There was no reason to make this into a movie.

The virtues of this production derive from the personality of Kampusch herself, but unfortunately the whole thing is fairly artlessly cobbled together.
