The special that opens with the theme song to Nekromantik that no one is talking about. Actually I'm still glad we live in the world where the Nekromantik theme song, Menage A Trois, isn't a common knowledge hey is that the Cheers theme thing.

A gentle, Seinfeldian set bolstered by Oswalt's good humour (in every sense of the word) but this is almost too placid and benign at times - diverting in the moment, but not much here that would stick in the memory.

It's amazing to see Patton visibly happier after what he's been through. While not all of the stories/jokes are terrific, they're never bad, and he does a better job of bringing elements from one joke back for later jokes, something he rarely did in previous specials. Highlights are his theory about Jesus, Denny's, and of course, "KIRBY!"
