The first season is nice and interesting, the second season is a horrible soap opera.

s1 was pretty good. character development and basic corny story but entertaining; s2 - shit .. #metoo calarts grad writers tank another series

The first season is 85/100 easy, However season 2, and especially series finale in season 3 were such a diarrhea that I couldn't wait for it to end. All of the engaging stories from S1 somehow become an indigestible sugary platitude fest. A shame really since it started so strong. But do see S1, it's worth it.

Whew, I'm not sure why I don't hear more people gush about how good this show is, because it absolutely floored me. A heartfelt & intriguing drama portraying ballroom culture with actors who breathe life and heart into the characters and story like there's no tomorrow. Outstanding performances, 80 & 90s from an important perspective and as captivating and intriguing as it is human. /// S1 - 100, S2 - 90; excited for Season 3.
