Starts off blandly, but around the halfway point the movie seems to properly embrace its own inherent silliness. Boring Dad turns into Hilariously Overacting Man, the standard military antagonist character becomes a highlight, and every scene with running troops is accompanied by way too many 'hut hut hut's. Once a dude called 'Bill Glates' shows up and every other scene contained a Spielberg or Kubrick reference, I was fully on board. Dumb, cheap, but fun. (Which is also my dating profile bio)

The first half of Roboshark starts off as literal shit. After emptying it's bowels with the diarrhea, and feeling better after its extraction, it becomes something truly glorious. Second half is beautiful, fun and hilariously stupid. I enjoyed it a lot and I actually dare to say I want to rewatch this. I was not hacked to say this statement.

Not as "good" as Sharknado, but plenty of it is so bad it's good. If we ever come across a text messaging Roboshark (2015) we now know how to destroy it. Just pray it happens in Seattle.
