Sacrifices of the Heart

Katelyn Weston, a country girl who became a lawyer and joined an L.A. law firm, specializes in defending minors having committed violent crimes. Estranged from her family, her older brother Ryan asks her to return to the farm he runs with their father. When he is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, she is forced to confront events from her past, while still trying to deal with a difficult and emotional legal case.
