Pretty Damn great MILITARY movie and the message to take away is... don't mess with AMERICA!!! Or the the NAVY SEALS!!!!

While as a made for TV movie, "Seal Team Six" features some killer production, as a movie in general it just didn't hold my attention the way that I expect a modern day war movie too. Far too much time was spent on politics and surveillance.

Yeah not bad. I'll give it a pass for Xzibit and Billy Fichtner

Watch zero Dark thirty instead

The film was made like a constant montage just taking the few facts we knew about the whole affair then extrapolating what surely must have happened in between, such as the nuclear strike discussion because hey, they have nukes right? It was a powerfully dull film and I only wish that I knew all the details about the event so I could properly dissect and mock it on a point by point basis. Oh and one of the operation names was "Operation Budweiser" - You've got to get your sponsors in!

Captivating in a documentary kind of way As the film states - Its dedicated to the military and intelligence forces that got OBL - and this is their story

The film does a good job of showing the involvement of local assets in Pakistan, not just people in suits furrowing their brows at Langley. The budget obviously isn't huge, but still the director manages to capture some genuine intensity despite the fact that we know how the film ends. While the level of detail was mostly pretty good, there were some holes such as the scrambled fighters apparently disappearing, and the lack of explanation of how the team escaped, given the... accident.
