Solo Leveling

love the idea of the anime, so the character gets a second chance at life and his life now becomes a videogame. he levels up, does quests and takes on stronger enemies for better loot and all this stuff gets put into the real world which makes it more realistic and coinciding with us

Fairly certain they'll stop at 2 seasons. There's no further engagement. They've trapped themselves in a corner with how much they've copied - and now have to either change the world of the story to be a Baki, and Overlord, or a One Punch Man verse from a 'normal' world infected by monster dungeons. Highly unoriginal, though well executed in what they do. Big final fights feel big. But, getting there feels like watching someone else slough through the lower levels of a video game.

12+13 eps. I originally skipped watching this because I thought the poster looked like it was going to have a slow pace, but in reality after the first couple episodes it's a very engaging battle show with a lot of similar elements to Hunter x Hunter 2011. The main character isn't really a "fun" character like Goku but is more of an angsty type (almost to the point of parody, at times). It introduces a lot of ideas and characters that then disappear; I think it's probably setting up sequels.

Solo Leveling is just a cool watch. Seeing the scrawny MC grow into a total badass is incredibly satisfying. The action, powers, and progression are all well done, and the pacing could be better. Sure, it’s not for everyone, but if you don’t like it, just don’t watch it — no need to hate. For fans of action and leveling-up stories, it’s a really fun and engaging ride.

I don't normally watch anime but this sucked me in.

Imagine if someone with Main Character Syndrome self inserted themselves into every isekai/that time I reincarnated into a fantasy world anime you've ever seen, except there's no reincarnation and still takes place in the real world. There's very little originality to be found, though what it does do was done fairly well.

Genuinely one of the most cringe self-insert fantasies I've ever seen. There's no tension because everything is magically resolved no matter what and our MC has literally no personality whatsoever. The only thing worse than the show is the Manwha.

It’s good. A bit bland. And it robbed us of the anime awards, so screw that.

I should have known going in that watching an isekai wasn't going to entertain me, but it was worse than I expected somehow. Poorly written, can be summed up as "the writer's fetish", more cringe moments than epic moments, yawn.

Beautiful movie just got a bit slow but was amazing
