Soul Eater

The aesthetics are very good, the characters are iconic and cool, but the development of the story is all over the place, I feel it fails to fulfill the expectations it sets. I doubt a remake would be satisfying in the way this anime would have been satisfying if it had been handled correctly from the beginning.

my fav anime

if it was more faithful to the manga and adapted the whole story, i'd give 100

A unique artstyle and vibe with well defined characters. The action was definitely limited by the budget of 2000 era anime.

It’s good and the weapons arc is interesting, but they deviated from the manga ending and it’s SO bad

Check it if only for visuals/visual style. Do not finish it. You'll have seen enough candy in a few episodes.
