Good pilot to the '90s animated show that covers all the bases of Superman's origin, from Krypton to Smallville to Metropolis, though at only 70 minutes, it inevitably feels rushed.

This was an okay animated introduction to the Superman mythos. The voice acting was a bit shaky and the animation was very rough but the pacing was good.

A great movie start to the tv series that would come. After roughly a decade of Superman losing appeal to viewres and readers, this show was a reboot before the term existed. The creators took the best element of the Donner films (Clark Kent, the mythology, the music) & infused it with the more human approach the comic series had been doing--especially in regards to violence. The voice acting was still being felt out, and it rushes through some of the origin. Still, those are minor complaints.
