The film segment parodies are the best part of the show. The rest of it is just a bit meh. Funny, on par with other animated comedies for adults, but nothing special.

Missed the mark quite a bit but hilarious at times which leaves it with a "watchable" type score.

Great and very funny, but sadly overlooked television series satirizing the film industry, but I think like most shows from the era, I think a lot of the jokes and references are kind of dated and wouldn't be understood by younger people.

The humor's a little uneven but it's got a lot of good parody and lampooning. It doesn't stink.

I half-watched every episode of this despite it not being very good. The main problem is that Jay as a character is not very sympathetic and the world itself is not very inviting. Certainly, there's some quality writing here, but it's in the service of something I could never get on board with. I'm wasting my life...
