Or, how Sean Bean very slowly sleepwalks his way through three to seven alternating, profound daydreams, while very slowly getting utterly lost in a disturbingly macabre interpretation of London's muddy underbelly - all taking place well after the Gin Craze, which, to the unsuspecting audience's sudden surprise, makes the whole thing remarkably boring.

I love the atmosphere but this has got to be one of the dirtiest shows I've ever seen. Not dirty in the naughty sense, it's literally caked with filth. I always feel like I need a shower after watching it.

More like the .. er .. boringstein .. er frankeindull .. whatever. Boring

Normally quite enjoy these period pieces but this one is just incredible boring. Acting and story are ok. But again just incredible boring
