The Mysterious Benedict Society

S1 score 60. Adopts the gloomy neo-Gothic aesthetic of the "A Series of Unfortunate Events" books, painted over with a Stepford-smiling sense of unease. More-or-less set in the 1970s (music, cars, technology). The plot was more satisfying and less meandering than I recall ASoUE being. S2 score 53; the writing wasn't as satisfying, particularly around Milligan's arc, and the effective absence of one of the core team for the dénouement. Overall pretty solid show.
