The Scarlet Pimpernel

Entertaining historical romp with a great cast (young Ian McKellen!), though the TV budget does hamper it a bit.

it's been a while since I've seen this, but I did enjoy it! I've loved the Scarlet Pimpernel since I saw it first on stage with the actor who originated the role on Broadway (he was amazing!) But, I must say, this Pimpernel was quite, quite good! And the story is always interesting and the ending different than other versions (I think). Even if you've read the books, I believe this ending is unique. However, I didn't really feel that Seymour was the best in the role.

Delightful. 🥰

Good cast, but I always hated the scarlet pimp (er-nel) *see what I did there?

Highly entertaining and quite touching.

Not a good movie, but I have a sentimental attachment because of when I saw it. I loved the book when I was younger.

This is a great movie with some funny stuff and great writing. Also some cool swordplay.

Good movie
