I did not see the whole thing, just the half of it. I wanted to see the other half but the more time passed the more I did not want to see it. Way better than that I recommend you "Crooked house" another three-part Horror miniseries.

Some great performances here but unfortunately James Herberts book hasn't been done justice.

The Secret of Crickley Hall is a two part mini-series based on the novel of the same name by James Herbert. The drama is played out across two time periods, 2006 and 1943. I found the '43 parts more entertaining; at times the 2006 sections felt like soap opera fare. Nice to see Game of Thrones Maisie Williams in something else though.

Suranne Jones was marvelous. And it was nice to see Maisie Williams before her breakout role as Arya on Game of Thrones. Performances were good, but the story was truly awful. The series entirely revolves around ghosts and superstitious nonsense. I detested most of the music and the confusing way flashbacks were handled. Even though the premise and plot were truly horrible, the acting was entertaining. I can't really recommend this because the story is pathetic garbage.

I was interested all the way through, but I found some elements of the ending to be corny.
