This second movie makes a few changes that bring it closer to the series ... Richard Anderson and Alan Oppenheimer replace Darren McGavin and Martin Balsam and the pace is quicker and the tone is lighter. Not quick enough though. After a a decent setup, the movie meanders through a formless middle act before charging into the last act. This one features a fairly prominent supporting cast as Britt Eckland and David McCallum have major roles.
