if you are learning Japanese and want to get your ears blasted with nonstop rapid-fire Japanese then boy is this the show for you. this needs a rewatch where I actually pay attention to the top half of the screen.

the peak galaxy, the visuals, the story, the characters, everything is peak. My only real problem was that it was pretty repetetive, but thats by nature, so.

Endless Eight for college-age smartasses.

Quite funny at times, and structurally unique. But on the other hand the main character is such an unlikable wet blanket that it's hard to care, and his manic narration only serves to dull any emotional response. Furthermore, its insights are anything but - e.g. the finale's assertion that "There's nothing as boring as a story about successful love," is not profound, but moronically presumptuous. Should have been focused on Ozu and his crazy adventures instead, he was always a delight.

Your perfect college experience is out there. But how to get it? Which club to join? Which courses to take? The protagonist can't find his perfect life, so he searches across many universes and possibilities. You might guess the answer early, but the journey is very much worth it.

Some shonen-type crudeness breaks the tone (Little Johny, drinking scenes, etc), but otherwise this is a fantastic, original, artistic series.
