Doesn't entirely feel like something made for TV. Great acting and awesome musical scenes. I'm always a sucker for artist biopics and The Temptations is among the best of them. Not my personal favorite of them all, but a solid movie with some great music. Creative liberties are always taken with things like these but I usually go read up on the facts and I know that biopics always change the truth (more or less, depending on the movie). Now that catchy music is in my head.

Nice showing by Smokey Robinson in the 3rd act. Suppose it's a fairly paint by numbers music biopic but any music fan will enjoy

Full of unsightly cliches, bad acting, and bad writing. Aside from that, there really isn't any conflict of any interest, all just stupid internal conflict that doesn't take place til after the first hour and a half. The only thing this movie has going for it is some good Temptations music, but the original music for the movie is pretty bad too.
