Enjoyable world and characters, though the ending and final episode was deux ex dogshit. Too much plot armour too and a pity that the good guy, Carcer, didn't win. But good otherwise.

Good try, I liked it more than most people, but it was clearly lacking in a few ways… could have been better, could have been worse. I enjoyed watching it. Dope theme song.

Season 1

The Watch is an amusing show with the charm & aesthetic of budget-era Doctor Who (i.e. pre-Chibnall). However the connection to Discworld is tenuous at best, drawing neither the look or feel of other adaptations, nor the humour from the books themselves. The actors seem competent but are miscast, too often overacting (Dormer) or mumbling through an inane emotional revelation. The plot (5 episodes in) is alright though.
