The Weakest Link

Easy to watch, even easier to ignore. Felt like the tryhard offspring of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Survivor, as hosted by Dr Laura. That might be the most late-'90s sentence I've ever written.

Anne Robinson is a boring host and the questions asked on the show are generally pretty easy to answer. The voting session in the show is awful with Anne trying her hardest to come across as witty and funny while contestants drop their boring backstories. The voting itself comes across as gimmicky and uninteresting, with so little tension in it that it feels like a waste of time. This is, ironically, one of the weakest quiz shows I've ever seen.
