La trama è della Christie quindi per forza interessante, purtroppo ci hanno ricamato sopra una storia drammatica che lo banalizza. Anche il ritmo è piuttosto lento.

I swear the glossy filter BBC uses for it's vintage dramatizations keeps getting more and more ridiculous. They've basically replaced the detailed sets of old with blurry surroundings. So starting off negative like that, this adaptation of Agatha Christie's writings ended up being a disappointment. Lifeless scenes dominated, and apart from a grotesque sex scene and David Haig managing miraculously to shine through the lame production, they murdered this murder story right from the get-go.
