Good conclusion to a great franchise that somewhat muddles everything with it's questionable ending. Would have been tighter and better if it ended on the emotional high note.

A decent follow-up movie to end 3 mini-series that are interesting while not being "the best". I didn't like the ending.

Didn't watch the Trollhunters TV-series, even if it did trigger my curiosity, but I decided to try this feature length creation... and it was okay a lot of the time. Narratively it felt unfocused, but what do I know, I didn't watch to series to understand half of the significance here. In that regard, this one is more for existing fans of Trollhunters.

Rise of the Titans achieves more or less what it set out to do. It's an epic continuation & combination of its constituent shows. However this grand spectacle of non-stop action comes at a price; the heartfelt character moments felt less organic than when delivered over multiple episodes. There are plenty of cute & humorous moments, but Jim's arc seems to only setup the climax. The ending is questionable, as in it leaves too many open questions, cheapening what could have been a tight story.
