Too shallow to be truly great but shallow enough to be entertaining

It's gone downhill in the recent years but they have produced many fascinating documentaries.

If you can get past the war tourist aspect of their early stuff, Vice was great in the mid-late 2000's (Vice Guide to North Korea etc.). Now that they're part of the youtube algorithm apparently, it all comes off as overproduced and overextended. Also amusing that Gavin McInnes is such a massive fucking moron he missed out on tens of millions of dollars, all because he lost his mind that hipsterism came to include non-white people.
