Yes Minister

A painfully accurate satire of bureaucracy that’s too real to be funny. The endless political maneuvering and smug dialogue feel like watching a spreadsheet come to life

No idea if it’s good or bad because the laughtrack is unbearable.

Top-notch satire of high-level politics.

Excellently written and performed, and of course funny.

The Official Secrets Act is not there to protect Secrets, it is there to protect Officials. Nothing more needs to be said.

genius of course. laid the groundwork for the thick of it/in the loop/veep etc. man, i used to have the video game of this on my amstrad CPC. i can tell you firsthand that humphrey is hella persuasive (although personally i always liked bernard best).

Perhaps it has dated a little, but at the time it seemed very good.

Pretty much three guys talking, really good.
