generally entertaining, few boring parts, and the antagonistic family dynamic is amusing.

A lot better than I thought it would be. Sheldon's character can get annoying, but he's a semi-accurate representation for autistic children (I would know, I was one). The other characters around Sheldon, his family, tend to be more charming and satisfying.

It was amazing initially but got a bit lame toward the end.

This inherently induces a bad stigma due to its origins but where BBT is obnoxious and patronizing this show is surprisingly funny and endearing. Instead of mocking Sheldon for his interests it's instead making his social awkwardness the butt of jokes, but without feeling the need to denigrate him for these traits nor making him an unlikable person. This is elevated by a supporting cast that not only play off Sheldon's quirks but have their own baggage that makes them uniquely engaging.

Always giving me laughs. Honestly a wonderful show with really nice characterisation and storytelling

I saw one episode by accident. This is shockingly hilarious & the child dialogue is remarkably accurate, not cutesy, schmaltzy nonsense. The child actor is also remarkable.

Ero scettica su questa serie per via delle premesse (c'era davvero bisogno di un prequel su Sheldon?) per questo ho cominciato a vederla solo dalla quarta stagione. Devo ammettere però che non è male, i personaggi sono simpatici e l'atmosfera un po' retrò funziona. Ben fatti anche gli episodi finali, che chiudono il cerchio con la serie madre.

Like TBBT very good and original.. casting and acting is fantastic. Also is very different from TBBT apart from the characters..
