Complete and utter .... correction: almost complete and utter crap. Some of the actors can act, but they were given dialogue written by Somali mining slaves who wrote this scrip without a candle. I was relieved to have survived watching this ... piece of ... I do not even want to degrade the word "shit" by calling this movie that.

Was seriously hoping for a good sequel. Started out Ok, then had to endure the good guys going into situations with half-assed plans. I could have done a better job than them. Then the ending, don't even get me started on that! Sigh!!! I hate lazy directors and writers so much!!!!!

You can tell it's a DTV sequel, which is really a shame. For all its flaws, the first one was a nice horror movie with great atmosphere. This one has some good moments in it, but it's dragged down by a weak director, low budget and some big plotholes.

30 Days of Night: Dark Days is not worth your time. It isn't worth watching if you liked its predecessor, nor is it worth your time if you're looking for something incredibly different. It's bland, features terrible special effects, and simply isn't scary. The first film had the potential to be a frightening experience; this one ruins the canon and is a cheap cash-in with the main purpose of keeping interest in a series that should have only lasted one film.

first one is way better

If you take away the 30 days of night you sort of take away the whole point.

Doesn't live up to the first one but isn't an insult to it either.

Hard to produce good results without the same actors from the original. Even still some ok gore and semi decent action carries it along. Two end scenes aren't very good though.

While the beginning is pretty interesting after the first half hour the movie falls apart, the third act is a test of patience. I passed the test...but I don't feel like I really won.

That ending killed whatever satisfaction the gore gave.

Everything that made the first film good, this one hasn't got. One of the worst movie experiences in a long time. The plot is weak and the actors are lousy. So if you liked the first film, do not watch this one...

Messes up everything they got right in the first one. And it kinda sucks when the leading charachers are lazy dumbasses who go get them selves killed for no reasoin with out a fight plan.
