Anatomy

Dissect Lola Dissect is pretty good. Not as good as Ole Bornedal's Nightwatch from 1994, but entertaining in parts. Why is it secret societies always have the worst PR?

Anatomy is an odd film. It's a mystery-thriller with some pitch-black humor scattered throughout, while also containing a great deal of scenes that can make you uncomfortable simply because they show live humans being cut up. There are unnecessary subplots and this isn't a scary film by any stretch of the imagination, but it has effective actors and is, on the whole, fairly enjoyable. Just, please, do yourself a favor and watch the subtitled version with the German language track.

Pretty run of the mill horror/thriller flick full of sexual innuendos that doesn't really deliver on the horror or the sex. I say pass when you see this pop up on TV or on the dvd shelf.

An intriguing but also quite weird German thriller that feels very similar to the droves of 2000's thriller-horrors from its era that followed the same general set of guidelines. The characters are too thin to get very invested in, but the actors playing them do a solid job. The story is interesting & presents a lot of thoughtful ideas, but it doesn't try very hard to explore any of them. The reveal of the first killer genuinely surprised me, props for that. Overall, decent but also forgettable.

Some decent visuals but the plot has only been done 10294190814 times before.

Messy directing. Crap.

good movie

An attempt of horror movie.

It has some neat visuals, and Potente is always a plus, but is pretty so-so by and large.
