I'm taken by surprise, judging by the scores I was ready to drop it after 15 minute sneak peek. Flirting didn't age well visually even after a mere 18 years. It keeps an intentional distance with the viewer and doesn't endeavor for sympathy. A pleasant experience for anyone looking for boarding school drama or earlier performance of many Australian talents involved.

LITTLE KNOWN FACT: Peter Frampton

One of the finest films about young love EVER. Thandie Newton is great. Nicole Kidman is mesmerizing. Naomi Watts is here in a small role as well.

Never saw _The Year My Voice Broke_. I like this film anyway. Lots of universal stuff here about what it's like to grow up
