Girls Against Boys

Top badass moment? With all the horrible abuse stories around at the moment, I think things would be so much easier if everyone simply became gay. And if you're a guy and not convinced by my argument, try watching this film. (And don't worry about the continuation of the human race question, I'm sure some civil servant will be able to come up with a solution to that.) Also, I rather liked the way this movie sounded. 1 cat (cute and black, with speaking part), no chainsaws or decapitations.

I think Girls Against Boys is worth watching even if I don't necessarily know if I think it's good or even if I liked it. It might not go far enough with its exploitation or ideas, but maybe there's a middle ground to be covered that rarely gets hit. The film is simple on the surface, although it gets more interesting the more you think about it. It has a couple of good performances and an intriguing take on the rape/revenge genre, mostly by not really being like other films in the genre.

A pretty bad movie. It has an incredibly slow start, then moves at a very fast pace. Then finally ends on a slow and sour note. I thought that Panabaker and LaLiberte were both really good but the writing and direction just crippled any sort of hope that this movie would turn out well. One thing of note is the soundtrack. My God, the music was awful in this movie. Not only was most of it repetitive techno but it was at such a pitch that my speakers sounded like they wanted to die.
