Learning to Drive

If you liked "The Lunchbox" where a married woman strikes an unexpected friendship with an office worker, this is a B tier version of that. Star crossed lovers that cannot be due to previous commitments. This isn't as strong as The Lunchbox but there's a dash of that grownup bittersweetness of falling in love with someone you can't have.

This film is a simple drama that has some interesting layers; I like how the story doesn't make the characters preachy or perfect and has some subtle but nice twists.

Clarkson and Kingsley make Learning to Drive watchable, in what is otherwise a bland, well-meaning film that relishes in driving round in circles.

Not a new story but well acted. Enjoyed it.
