Kind of no pretentions and actually get you scared by means of suggestions and expectations although the end it is open to interpretation so it is a good movie but...

A little too long and a little too this-is-my-student-film-for-film-school, but it has a weird sense of charm. Maybe because unlike a lot of found footage flicks, the lead actually feels like a real person. His decision-making is generally understandable (though often cringey) and the events at the locus of this narrative do intrigue. It just never gathers speed and instead putters along the line between boring and watchable. Still, there are many worse found footage flicks.

Slow burn that effectively builds atmosphere, though it gets a little over the top and silly. Not sure about the ending. Yes, ultimately it all boils down to nothing more than a dude playing creepy noises on an audio file over and over along with a cat skull in the woods (yes, that's pretty much it), but again, the film *is* at least somewhat effective at building atmosphere and tension mostly due to Josh Criss's believable performance.

Slow, tense, creepy. I enjoyed it. The ending could've been much better though.
