The acting performances of Brendan Fletcher and Eliana Jones is what I will remember from this movie. Daddario does one of her worst performances so far and I'm not sure if Cavill still knows that he was in this movie, looked like he just got out of bed throughout the entire thing and just read stuff from a sign.

The script is as lousy as the cast was enormously promising.

This movie fumbled the ball at the goal line. It has everything a good thriller should have and just said nope to being good. It jumbled all the plot threads together and didn't really spend time developing where it should have. Cavill, Kingsley and others try but there is no substance here to grasp onto. The twist was awful as well and made no sense at all. Absolutely none.

The best thing about this movie is the concept of it on paper. On the silver screen it becomes a muddled mess of motivations that intertwine, overlap and miss. Cavill is criminally miscast as a washout cop with a ragged wig for a beard, trying his best to pull off a tired familyman-cop frontage but is still obviously shredded from post MI and pre-Witcher and looks like a frikken superm—odel.

I don't think I'm the only one who thought the opening scene was Shaggy's 'It wasn't me'.
