Pale Blood

Wings Hauser is pretty captivating and Pamela Ludwig was a spunky investigator. I was actually the most tense during the egg scene because I was afraid of it breaking. The music was a bit annoying but then I went with the flow. There could have been a decent movie in here if the editing was better. Interview with the director makes her come across as a crazy stoner. Fav scene: Jenny going to the garlic room with Hauser.

I did not expect to love this, but I kind of loved it. It looks like a bad tv show in the best possible way. If every episode of Forever Knight was this good I wouldn't have time to go outside.

The best parts of this are the street scenes showing late 80's goth & club kids hanging around night time LA. Hauser blows Chakiris away in terms of being watchable.

With a decent cast, a nice premise, & a couple of really fun twists, this is one of the few vampire movies that manages to actually do something different & do a pretty alright job at it to boot. Wings Hauser is the clear star, doing a great job in his role, but Pamela Ludwig isn't bad either. George Chakiris is...iffy at best & bad at worst, but he's not intolerable. What really carries this is the actually engaging story & the solid characters, which make it worthwhile. Give it a look.
