Sexo caníbal

A Vietnam vet goes into the jungle to rescue a spoiled actress from evil kidnappers, only to end up facing down a tribe of unruly cannibals and their bug eyed zombie god. It ticks all the boxes you'd expect for an 80s Euro-sleaze cannibal flick (sex, gore and naked natives), but it's all very tame and smothered with that special layer of crap-ness that can only be provided by Jess Franco quite obviously not giving a fuck about the finished product. Cheap and boring.

Franco's hysterical sense of the absurd makes this low budget cannibal schlock a hell of a lot of fun (even though it occasionally bores and wanks on for too long). He really has a unique, almost alien style of weirdness that transcends the conventional exploitation trappings.

But a Roger Ebert 4 Cannibal movies are always me on edge an animal is gonna get it but ... this one's safe , but if you're squeamish watching weiners flopping around without a care in the world and camera man shadows dancing around them - this might sting a bit. One of the actors is "Robert Foster" and I almost gasped. Soundtrack for chunks of this sounded like a fat person leaning against an organ and trying to get up.

Sleazy and depraved cannibal feature that fortunately doesn't rely on animal cruelty like many others of the genre. There are a few moments of creativity, but the pacing is horribly slow, the cannibal monster is very goofy looking, the effects are very cheap, and the copious sex/nudity becomes very tedious after a while.

Big-eyed cannibal god, gore, nude Ursula Buchfellner & Aline Mess who really knows how to move her hips. Not bad.

Franco never disappoints in making crap films.
