a lot of known faces (lundgren, white etc) and some decent fight scenes but we have seen this story so many times before and this movie brings nothing new to the table.. The characters are not very believable and you don't really care much what happens in the end. It failed to make any impact on me even tough I like human trafficing movies because they help shed a light of this horrible "business" that innocent people suffer from.

A pretty good actioner with a few very familiar faces doing a decent job. The story is nothing really new which is fine, and the movie is filmed fine there is just nothing really to put it really good status.

The gunfighting doesn't fare as well as the hand to hand combat but I like the action in this movie a good deal. Uses its action stars to good effect and it's quite cool to see three different body types and fighting styles square off. Dolph is huge and powerful, Tony Jaa is small and acrobatic, and we all know Michael Jai White is built like a brick shithouse. Quite poorly edited in some places but the choreography makes this worth a watch in my book.

Aside from a couple of decent fist fights, Skin Trade is as generic and thrill-free as action movies come. Tony Jaa's abundant talents are mostly wasted on bland chases and shootouts, and the lumbering Dolph Lundgren's one-man army days are a long way behind him.

It's not that the action scenes were poorly executed, coordinated or performed it's the fact that the director doesn't know how to film the scenes well. There are a surprising number of Bigger name star in this movie and while most don't really get a lot to do, they make the most of their role and never really seem to be phoning it in. It's also a shame that they force the Thai actors to speak in English while taking to each other since they speak Thai part of the time and it would make sense th

Great cast, decent story with some occasionally hilariously cheesy lines. A few good fight scenes but a little too much reliance on bland gunfare

Skin Trade is the most mediocre and generic type of bad action movie. It doesn't contain anything good or bad enough to get excited about, and instead feels like a slog to sit through. It would've been a poor entry into Dolph Lundgren's canon back in the mid-1990s, and being a 2015 release just makes it feel outdated and sad. It's always disappointing to see a passion project not wind up worth watching, but that's exactly what Skin Trade is.

After a very slow start it gets going and we get a few good fight scenes. You'd think it would be better than it is with Jai White, Jaa, and Lundgren but a bad script slows the whole thing down
