The Beach House

watchable

The story could've been more fleshed out, but I think it's quite decent overall. I enjoy the atmosphere the film conveys.

Liked it quite a bit. Would've loved to see the story develop a little bit more, but a lot was achieved with what looked like a tight budget so no complaints.

I watched Beach House very close to Color out of Space which made it hard not to compare. I found Color out of Space to be the superior movie, but this was still enjoyable. If I saw them further apart, I would have liked Beach House more.  PSA- get your water tested.

Interesting, but from middle become little boring. Good acting all around.

Unsettling and creepy.

Lovecraftian environmental horror at its core, The Beach House starts off someone and ends at a very different place. Some cool gore and a strong first half give a pretty tight and entertaining flick. It probably goes bigger in its plot than it can handle but it's effective.
