It's a bit weird seeing a couple of beloved classic actors not only being old, but doing a story specifically to do with aging and illness. But this movie was funny and genuinely interesting, especially the part where they go on tour. Movie Watching Partner who is a musician said the tour part felt very authentic.

It's a mixed bag seeing one of your favorite actors getting old, and you can see that Chevy Chase's days of playing Fletch are well behind him, but he delivers a warm, honest and melancholy performance. Dreyfuss is good and It's nice to see MacDowell as well. The film itself is quite routine effort but not too syrupy. It contains some drug use and direct talk, but it never develops into "Hangover for seniors". Hopefully the cast gets more chances for better material.

It became blatantly clear the moment I started watching that I wasn't the target audience. It's a feel good movie for seniors. Just shut up and continue watching it with your Grandparent. At the very least it has a solid cast.
