The Noel Diary

I mean, very predictable in many ways, and yet I enjoyed it quite a bit. The back story was reasonably compelling, acting was good. Ending could have used a bit better of a wrap up but not too hard to imagine where it went.

This is one of those Hallmark Christmas movies that's not actually a Hallmark Christmas movie and so is punctuated by surprising bursts of authenticity. I don't totally hate Justin Hartley as an actor.

Very cute

Dead relative - check, classic car - check, handsome single guy - check, engaged woman who doesn't really want to be engaged - check, small town with wildly diverse population - check, romance that really has nothing to do with Christmas and would bore the hell out of your kids, and probably you - check. Me giving up half way through - check.

Good for the Hallmark (Netflix) genre, but it is hard to justify any higher of a rating.

Quite liked this movie to be honest. The acting, especially of the woman, was very good. Didn't really need the romance in the story, but it was kind of satisfying (- the cheating part). Pretty surprised by this one.
