My picks:
[quote="Stewball"]
Best Motion Picture - Drama
Inception
Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy
The Kids Are All Right (I guess. None of them deserve it)
Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama
James Franco for 127 Hours
Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama
Natalie Portman for Black Swan (2010)
Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy
Johnny Depp for Alice in Wonderland (2010)
Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy
Emma Stone for Easy A (another weak category, IMO)
Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture
Christian Bale for The Fighter (I agree with Stewball on someone from Inception making this list)
Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture
Mila Kunis for Black Swan
Best Director - Motion Picture
Christopher Nolan for Inception
Best Screenplay - Motion Picture
Inception (2010): Christopher Nolan
Best Original Song - Motion Picture
I abstain from voting. I have no musical taste.
Best Original Score - Motion Picture
Inception: Hans Zimmer
Best Animated Film
Toy Story 3
I'm surprised Toy Story 3 didn't get more love. And even though I love Inception, I'm expecting The Social Network to pull down most of the awards. These ceremonies aren't usually that fond of sci-fi.

Re: Golden Globe Nominations
Globes are so supid.
The whole comedy/musical field is beyond a joke.
And there TV nominations, no supporting actor nominations for stuff like Boardwalk Empire/The Pacific. I don't even know how this happens.

I think you'll find that pretty much every award show is a pointless exercise in self-aggrandizement.

I haven't really ever watched the Globes, but are they as bad as the Academy Awards are? Because those are pretty bad.

I love the Golden Globes. They teach me that almost all good movies are American ones.
